What we can help with
-
We’re not afraid to talk about sex. It’s all around us; woven into how we love, connect, and express ourselves. Maybe you’re exploring your sexuality, struggling with orgasm, or feeling pressure to perform. Maybe you want more sex and your partner wants less. Maybe you’re curious about kink or BDSM and want support around communication, boundaries, and aftercare. Or maybe you’re trying to recover from a rupture in the relationship and longing to feel close again.
We believe sex is part of being human. At Alight we focus on pleasure over performance, on desire and connection, and on helping you rediscover what feels alive and vital.
-
Relationships can be messy, tender, and deeply felt. Maybe you’re stuck in the same argument, talking in circles, or feeling unheard. Maybe you’re navigating a big shift: kids, in-laws, a move, financial stress, or the aftermath of infidelity. Maybe emotions run high, or the connection that once felt easy now feels out of reach. Maybe you’re exploring consensual non-monogamy and figuring out how to communicate boundaries with care. Or maybe you just want to keep the good things going.
Whatever it is, we’re here for you. We’re here to help you slow down, find clarity in the chaos, and rebuild (or strengthen) the sense of connection that relationships need to thrive.

Emotional regulation begins with understanding how your body responds to stress, conflict, and connection. Our nervous systems carry the imprint of past experiences; holding tension, memory, and protective patterns long after the moment has passed.
Maybe you notice your chest tighten when you argue, your stomach knot when you set a boundary, or a sense of shutting down when things get overwhelming. Learning to recognize these patterns helps you understand what your body is communicating and how to support yourself through it.
This work isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you. It’s about learning to regulate, to listen, and to move through life with greater ease, awareness, and connection to yourself and others.

Trauma can live in the body long after the moment has passed. It shapes how we experience safety, closeness, and trust, sometimes leaving us guarded or disconnected without fully knowing why. Our nervous systems carry these imprints, holding memories and protective patterns that once kept us safe but now keep us stuck.
Through somatic therapies and EMDR, we work to gently untangle those stored experiences and help the body remember what it feels like to settle. This process isn’t about reliving the past or fixing what’s broken. It’s about helping the body and mind integrate what has been held, restoring a sense of ease, presence, and connection.

I specialize in working with adults and partners around intimacy, sex & sexuality, trauma, communication, and the body’s response to stress and connection.
